Aquatics

The pool complex is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, subject to weather, and is always staffed by trained and certified lifeguards and maintenance professionals.

The facility features three distinct pools - The competition pool is an 8-lane, 25-meter L-shaped pool. Adjacent is the leisure pool, a zero entrance, hour-glass shaped pool of 3-foot depth offering a variety of fountain effects. A limited depth, fence-enclosed baby pool is also available. The pool clubhouse includes fully equipped locker rooms and features a fully-enclosed café in addition to a casual waterside bar.

  • Pool Activities

    • The pool complex is a popular location for members during the summer months. Along with relaxing days and evenings in the water, regularly scheduled activities include water aerobics and movie nights. Can’t-miss events of the summer include our Memorial Day cookout, Schools Out Party, Independence Day Celebration, Labor Day Party, and the annual Cardboard Boat Race

  • The Penguins Swim Team

    • The Country Club of Fairfax offers our very own swim program, The Penguins, developed to inspire our younger members to achieve personal bests. The program focuses on creating a positive experience, promoting a love for swimming, and building self-esteem and leadership.

      The Club also offers the Junior Penguin program for less experienced swimmers ages 4 - 7, and the Gray Penguin fitness program for swimmers ages 18 and over.
